In 1998, G.O.A.'L began as a volunteer organization made up of individuals who donated their free time and own money to build and sustain the organization.  Still today, we depend largely on the efforts of our individual volunteers, members and sponsors to provide the necessary knowledge, human resources and especially critical funding to support our mission.  Without this continued support, G.O.A.'L would not exist, meaning that the global community of Korean adoptees would be left without a physical homebase in our birth country.  

Since 1998 G.O.A.'L has assisted and supported thousands of Korean adoptees from more than 20 countries.  Moreover, services and programs provided by G.O.A.'L have benefitted not only adoptees, but also birth families, adoptive families, adoption and social welfare professionals, academics, government officials, and average citizens who have shown interest and concern about the community of Korean adoptees.   

At G.O.A.'L we know that with the cultural and language barriers alone, it is difficult to maintain such a unique and important organization like ours without proper funding.  We have also come to realize that many people want to help G.O.A.'L in some way, but don't know how or may not have time to volunteer.  Thus, we have come up with a solution that aims to solve both these problems.  Consider becoming a G.O.A.'L sponsor!  Not only is your contribution greatly needed and appreciated, it allows G.O.A.'L to provide ongoing services and support for adoptees and to maintain a physical office.  

Sponsorship levels can be done from within or outside of Korea; and can be done on a one-time basis, or on an ongoing monthly basis as follows:

Donations can be made easily and securely online via PayPal through the G.O.A.'L website in your own currency (US$, Euro, etc.) from by clicking on the "DONATE" button below.

2) Regular monthly sponsorships can be be set up through our Cash Management System (CMS) in any denomination from KRW5,000 to KRW1,000,000.  Please send an email to office@goal.or.kr to receive an application to activate your sponsorship.
