While the intricacies are still not understood, there is a strong connection between the health of the mind and body. Learn how mindfulness can affect your thoughts and emotions, and in turn your physical health. We’ll practice techniques to keep you present, help you respond to situations, and address issues at their psycho-emotional roots. If you’ve practiced mindfulness alone, go beyond your limitations and experience the benefits of mindfulness in a group setting.
During our session we will explore
- the 7 basic concepts of mindfulness
- how we have, can and want to grieve
- finding positive and validating experiences
