Crisis Management & Communication Workshop

Crisis Management & Communication

From the local suicides of adoptees and the highly publicized deaths of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain, to national immigration, deportation, and separation issues, we cope with distressful situations on personal and large-scale levels. Play through interactive scenarios to prepare yourself for reactions to crises big and small. This session will touch upon personal issues as well as how to respond appropriately to those around you affected by crises.

During our session we will learn to

  1. Understanding Crisis Response
  2. Identify external supports
  3. Finding positive and validating experiences through grief and loss.
